| About Me |
| I am a graduate student
at the University of Georgia, working under Dr. Robert Rumely.
Although my focus in research is Capacity on Algebraic Curves, I
have several publications in unrelated fields, such as Knot Theory,
Elliptic Curves, and Combinatorics. Any listing of my interests outside of math should certainly start with my love of the circus, especially the Cirque Nouveau movement. I have seen eleven of Cirque du Soleil's shows live, as well as several shows by other companies, such as Le Reve, Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy, and Cavalia. I also juggle a small amount, have a unicycle, and am proficient on dance-bar trapeze and aerial fabrics. My other areas of interest include reading, writing, travel, the theater, and rock climbing. The Kindle I received as a Christmas present is one of my treasured posessions, and it amuses me that stewardesses now have to ask me to turn my book off for takeoff and landing. |
