Week 3:

Due Tuesday, January 24: Read section 8.3 and do the practice problems. Hand in Thursday: problem 3 on page 350.

Due Thursday, January 26: Hand in: problem 12 on page 344, 345, problem 3 on page 350 and problems 7 and 8 on page 356. For problem 8, be sure to give a general explanation that will work no matter what the angles a and b are.

Week 4:

Due Tuesday, January 31: Read sections 8.4, 8.5, and 8.6 and do the practice problems.

Due Thursday, February 2 : QUIZ The quiz will consist of problems similar to assigned practice problems, homework problems, and class activity problems.
