Week 13:

Due Monday, November 12: This homework is now due Wed., Nov. 14, as we decided in class. (to be scored) Hand in section 3.4 problems # 8, 10, pages 209 - 211. Remember to write clear explanations for why you can solve the problems the way you do.

Due Wednesday, November 14: Read sections 3.5 and 3.6 and do the exercises.

Due Friday, November 16: (to be scored) Hand in section 3.5 problem # 2, page 222 - 223 and section 3.6 problem # 4, page 231, 233.

Change in calculation of your grade:rather than calculate separate grades for checked and scored homeworks, and have each count for 15% of your course grade, I will join all homeworks together, drop your lowest two scores, and use the average of all homework scores for 30% of your course grade.

Week 14:

Due Monday, November 19: Read sections 3.7 and 3.8 and do the exercises.

Due Wednesday, November 21: Thanksgiving break
