Mathematics content and methods courses for prospective elementary school teachers at the University of Georgia

All students who earn a degree leading to certification to teach grades PreK – 5 take the following at UGA:

• The core math courses required of all UGA graduates
• 3 math content courses taught in the Department of Mathematics:
• MATH 5001, a course in numbers and operations
• MATH 5002, a course in geometry and measurement
• MATH 5003, a course in number theory, algebra, probability, and statistics
