An annual topology conference has been held at the University of Georgia since 1961. This year, the conference focuses on algebraic topology. Around half of the talks will be on the common theme of the Goodwillie-Weiss embedding calculus and its application to spaces of knots. Tom Goodwillie will give a series of 3 introductory talks on the embedding calculus at the graduate student level. Nick Kuhn will also give a series of introductory talks on periodic localization, generalized Tate cohomology, and infinite loopspaces. The following have agreed to speak at the conference. Mark
