I am a fifth year PhD student in mathematics at UW-Madison and my advisor is Prof. Jordan Ellenberg. I am graduating in 2009 Spring.

Here is my Curriculum Vitae.

RESEARCH:

My research interest lies in arithmetic geometry and algebraic number theory. More precisely, I am interested in Hurwitz stacks--Moduli stacks of coverings of P^1, counting rational points on varieties, counting arithmetic objects, connection between Galois representations and automorphic forms. Currently, I am working on three projects:....

Here is my Research Statement.

Work in Progress:

On the Cohomology of Hurwitz Stacks.

On the Number of Extensions of a Global Field with Fixed Degree and Bounded Discriminant.

Publications:

The Dimension of the Space of Bianchi Modular Forms, with H. Sengun and N. Petrosyan.   In preparation.

Counting Multisections in Conic Bundles over a Curve defined over F_q,   submitted.

Weight Reduction for Mod l Bianchi Modular Forms with Haluk Sengun,   to appear in Journal of Number Theory.

Connected Components of Hurwitz Schemes and Malle's Conjecture ,   submitted.

TEACHING:

I have seven years of experience in teaching (at the levels of TA and Instructor) undergraduate math classes of varying levels. Below is a list of the math classes I taught with the student evaluations I got. The classes I taught in summer or when I am undergrad have no evaluations.

Here is my Teaching Statement.
