GIT and moduli spaces of curves
Abstract:
I will outline geometric invariant theory constructions
of moduli spaces of pointed curves \bar M_g,n and variations of
these spaces. I will also discuss future work: using these
constructions
to study the birational geometry of the moduli spaces \bar M_g and
\bar M_g,n.
