I have been a TA for some time now.

Here are some of my favorite teaching evaluation quotes.

1999 Differential Calculus Lab

-It is too easy to cheat in this course. This course helps but does not seem to apply to my Calculus class.

I do not think it should be a required class with Calculus. It is hard to get to computer labs if you don’t

own Maple.

- I feel that this lab was a total waste of my time, most of the time I left with less of an understanding

in the math problems and completely confused about maple. I will never use maple again, and having to learn

an entirely useless computer program shouldn’t be allowed to monopolize an hour of my time every week.

I now possess 19 hours of useless information to carry for the rest of my life. Thank you very much!

- This lab is completely useless. All we learned in it was how to write a really bad computer program.

The instructor was the only bright part of it. This was a waste of time.

- The feed through was a practical, ‘real-life’ lab. I live on a farm and this lab brought calculus to the farm.

- It is really good. It would be better if it were more intensive, covering more Maple commands.

2001 Differential Calculus Lab

- She was very informative and always knew the answers.

- Ms. Baramidze was an exceptional lab TA; she helped us when many other lab TA’s turned you away.

- She is very helpful when I need individual attention, and makes me actually understand what is going on.

- The teacher wasn’t the problem with this class, the class itself was pointless. I do not think that it will

be beneficial in any future context or situation. I learned nothing.

2002 Differential Calculus Lab

- I love the way she grades and how helpful she was in class. I especially think she did an exceptional job

in ‘teaching’ students because she never just ‘gave’ us the answer.

- Very good teacher, a pleasure to be around.

- Everything was really good.

- Thanks for not over complicating.

2003 Differential Calculus

- Very good at teaching the material. She interested me in math.

- Fantastic teacher, that’s all there is to say.

- She was an understanding teacher who wanted her students to do well and enjoy her class. One of the

best math teachers I have ever had.
