CONTENT OF THE COURSE: Calculus of functions of two and three variables including vectors in two and three dimensions, parametric curves, continuity, and differentiability of functions of several variables, directional derivatives, Lagrange multipliers, multiple integration, polar coordinates, Green's theorem, and Stokes' theorem (Reprinted from the UGA catalog).
TEXTBOOK: Edwards & Penney : Calculus with analytic geometry, Fifth edition (1998), available in the bookstore.
ASSESSMENT OF GRADES, DATES OF EXAMS:
40%: Three midterm exams (20% each, lowest grade dropped):

Thursday, November 21st.
40%: Final exam: Wednesday, December 17th, 7 pm – 10 pm.
20%: Homework and classwork.
