Mathematics at
My research interests are in Arithmetic Geometry/Algebraic Number Theory, Logic/Set Theory, Mathematics of Computation, Number Theory.
Here are some papers of interest:
First are two papers on the Fekete-Szego Theorem with Splitting Conditions, in the classical case for capacities on the projective line, relative to the point at infinity. The first paper deals with a special case where the ground field is Q, and the second deals with the general case with an arbitrary number field as the ground field.
Next is a preliminary manuscript establishing the Fekete-Szego Theorem with Splitting Conditions on Curves defined over number fields. The proof is complete, but the manuscript is a composite of several preliminary files and has not been polished yet.
Next is a paper "Harmonic Analysis on Metrized graphs", joint with Matt Baker.
Next are an expanded set of lecture notes from the Berkovich Space seminar held at UGA during Spring 2004, joint with Matt Baker. They exposit the basic properties of the Berkovich line, and then develop a theory of capacity, harmonic functions, and subharmonic functions. They conclude with a construction of the Lyubich measure for a rational function.
Last is a paper "Equidistribution of small points, rational dynamics, and potential theory", joint with Matt Baker, proving equidistribution of small points at all places, for the dynamical system attached to a rational function defined over a number field.
