Postdoctoral Research & Teaching Associate

Md Joshem Uddin is a Postdoctoral Research and Teaching Associate in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Dallas. His research lies at the intersection of topological data analysis, geometric machine learning, and graph representation learning. He develops topology-aware graph neural networks and transformer models for static and temporal data, with applications to power-grid security and resilience. At UGA, he is expanding his research toward mathematical AI for biosciences in collaboration with Prof. Guowei Wei, with interests in drug discovery and biomolecular data analysis.
