I am a Professor of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia. I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, under the direction of David Vogan. I have advised three Ph.D. students: Wenjing Li, Brandon Samples and Ben Wyser.
I was born in 1968 in Suacoco County in upcountry Liberia, grew up in Liberia, England, Lesotho and Massachusetts, ended up with a PhD in Mathematics from UC Berkeley in 1999, and have been a professor at the University of Georgia since 2011. I'm an associate professor of Mathematics at UGA. I teach a variety of courses, including Abstract Algebra (Math 4000/6000), Introduction to Higher Mathematics (Math 3200) and many others .
