I grew up in Mississippi and obtained my B.S. and M.S. in mathematics from the University of Mississippi. I moved to Georgia for my PhD in 2023 with my wife, and we have two cats, a snake, and a lizard. In my spare time, I make music. I play a J-Bass and a Squier Mustang. I also meditate.
